So, Meredith, Patti, and I have been browsing through our old Xangas this week and taking note of how absolutely ridiculous they are. I know that everyone was really interested in what I ate for every meal back in the day, but really, come on. Anyway, we figured that Blogger would be a superb way to keep in touch with each other's lives in college.
Now the question is, if I'm not going to list my meals and find excuses to be emo and talk about how difficult my life is, what do I write about? Meh...here goes.
Christmas is over! Was it even here? It sure doesn't feel like it. I guess that's because there wasn't any real build-up to it this year. Maybe because my dorm room wasn't decorated or because I didn't sing Personet Hodie and Old Toy Trains, but whatever it was, I was just not in the spirit—it completely snuck up on me. But of course, Christmas was great. I love my family so much, and spending the holidays with them always serves as a friendly reminder of that.
Anyway, I'm loving this break. I was thinking about it...and I will probably only be home for this long of a time...maybe seven more times in my life? That is so crazy to me. I guess we can't all be the Huxtables. But getting to see all my friends has been amazing, of course. Thank goodness for technology. As terrible as Facebook can be around finals time, it really is a wonderful thing. With that, cell phones, and Skype. We all get to keep in touch so easily, and when we come back, it's really like we never left. As great as college is, it's just hard sometimes to not be in the company of people who truly know you, your history, your family, etc. That being said, it's been weird not seeing all the college kids everyday, and I'm missing them a little!
Well, this is getting a little rambly, so I'll stop. We'll see if this catches on or just dies a few posts later!
